FAQ

Troubleshoot connection problems in order.

Confirm that the API URL is https://api.omnidino.com/v1 and that the Key is valid and funded. If automatic discovery fails, add the model ID manually.
Check that the OmniDino Key is complete and enabled, and that its group can access Gemini models.
The model ID must exactly match the name in OmniDino. Do not use a display label, nickname, or shortened version without its version suffix.
Confirm that the selected Gemini model supports vision input and that the current Cherry Studio version and upstream channel pass images correctly.
Confirm that the chat page is using a model from the Gemini Provider, then check the OmniDino console for failed requests and error details.
A Gemini text or vision-understanding model is not automatically an image-generation model. Use an image model and endpoint currently supported by OmniDino.

Unlock Gemini’s multimodal capabilities in Cherry Studio.

Verify the text route first, then test image input, long context, and advanced tools to avoid unnecessary protocol problems.
